01.Situations I know well

We re-key Shopify orders into the ERP.
Every order copied by hand means errors, shipping delays and wasted hours.
The site sells products we no longer have.
Stock syncs once a day, or not at all. The result: cancellations and disappointed customers.
Our connector fails and nobody knows why.
No logs, no alerts: you find out when a customer calls.
We want to leave Magento, but we're afraid of breaking everything.

Products, variants, prices and multi-warehouse stock, pushed from the ERP or PIM to Shopify.

Shopify orders sent to the ERP or OMS, then statuses, shipments and tracking numbers sent back.

Sync with the CRM or the email marketing tool, loyalty programs.

Do you freelance on Shopify projects?

No. I'm a backend developer at unique.paris, a Shopify Plus agency. For a Shopify project, I put you in touch with the agency.

Why work with a full team?

A connector or a migration directly affects your sales: it needs scoping, testing, a supported go-live and long-term follow-up. A team with a project manager, developers and designers secures all of that.

Which ERPs can be connected to Shopify?

Most of them: Cegid, SAP, Sage, Odoo, Business Central, Dolibarr… As soon as a tool exposes an API, a SOAP web service or files (CSV, FTP), it can be connected to Shopify.

Why not use an app from the Shopify App Store?

If an existing app covers the need, it's often the best option. Custom work makes sense when business rules, volumes or the ERP go beyond standard cases.

What happens when Shopify changes its API?

Shopify releases a new API version every quarter. A custom connector therefore needs to be maintained and updated as these versions come out.
