An interactive map, powered by your data.
I build geolocated web platforms: interactive map, "near me" search, place pages, contributions and moderation. Clean data in the database, an API ready for a mobile app, and place pages that Google can read.

01.Sound familiar?
- Our locations live in an Excel file.
Addresses, photos, opening hours: impossible to check in the field or to show the public.
- We want the public to contribute, without chaos.
Submissions with a photo and a location, approved by your moderators before going live.
- The map crawls once there are thousands of points.
Clustered markers, spatial queries in the database: the map stays smooth, even on mobile.
- The Google Maps bill keeps growing.
Open source alternatives like Leaflet and OpenStreetMap do the job very well.
02.What for?
- Store locator
Your stores on a map, with opening hours, services and directions. Can be embedded in a Shopify store.
- Trails and tourism
Places, routes, heritage: a map visitors use on the spot.
- Field inventory
Teams photographing and geotagging items in the field, one central map to track everything.
- Community map
A community that enriches the map, with profiles, moderation and notifications.
03.What I deliver
- Geographic database
PostgreSQL and PostGIS: search by radius, area or distance, across thousands of points.
- Interactive web map
Leaflet and OpenStreetMap, clustered markers, filters, "near me" search.
- Contributions and moderation
Adding places with a photo and location, an approval back office, notifications to contributors.
- Importing your data
CSV, Excel, GeoJSON or an existing API, with addresses converted to coordinates.
- API for the mobile app
The same database powers the website and an iOS and Android app.
- Indexed place pages
Each place gets its own page that Google can read: the map becomes a traffic source.
04.Work
My own platform, designed and built end to end: database, API, website, back office and mobile app.
- Web platform street-artwork.com The world map of street art: thousands of geolocated artworks in more than 600 cities, an artist database, moderated contributions, reporting of erased artworks and email notifications, on the website and on mobile.

07.FAQ
Do I have to pay for Google Maps?
Not necessarily. By default I use Leaflet and OpenStreetMap base maps, with no Google billing per map load. Depending on your traffic, a tile hosting service can help, at a much lower cost. If you prefer Google Maps or Mapbox, that works too.
How many points can the map display?
Tens of thousands. Nearby markers are clustered and the database only returns what is visible on screen, so the map stays smooth.
Can we have a mobile app as well as the website?
Yes, the same API serves both the website and the app. That is how street-artwork.com and Street Art App work.
How much does a geolocated platform cost?
It depends on your data, the number of user roles (public, contributors, admins) and the features you need. After our first call, I send you a detailed quote.
Can the map be embedded in my existing website?
Yes, as a dedicated page or as an embedded module, whether your site runs on WordPress, Shopify or a custom stack.
08.Let's talk about your map
Tell me what you want to map, where the data comes from and who needs to use the map. I'll get back to you to set up a first call.
